On Saturday, June 9, the Kiwanis Club of Sunnyside organized a Flag Day Parade celebrating community pride. The parade will start forming at 10 a.m. on Greenpoint Avenue and 41st Street. At 11 a.m. it will proceed along Greenpoint Avenue to 48th Street. There will a celebration following that at Veterans’ Memorial Plaza in Sabba Park on Queens Boulevard and 49th Street.
