Simotas Baby Shower Benefits Pajama Program


The staff of Assemblymember Aravella Simotas hosted a baby shower for her which helped benefit The Pajama Program. Guests brought books and pajamas for the program, a non profit organization that provides warm pajamas and books for children in need. “The Pajama Program provides children with the most simple and comforting ritual of childhood- having a parent or loved one read to them to go to sleep,” explained Simotas. The Assemblymember was a co-host of the Pajama Party’s benefit last year. More than 100 friends, family and community members came to celebrate the impending arrival of Simotas’ baby girl. “It brings me such joy to see so many of my dear friends here to celebrate this new life,” Simotas said.
