Councilmember Peter Vallone Jr. and Tony Meloni of New York Anti-Crime gathered with area residents for a tree giveaway in Astoria Park. More than 200 trees were given away during the event on May 19 in collaboration with Million Trees NYC and New York Restoration Partnership.
