Hunt “R” Train Pervert Continues
Police are still searching for a man wanted for exposing himself on a Manhattan-bound “R” train in Astoria on April 26.
Cops said the suspect, approximately 35-years-old, exposed himself when the train stopped at the Steinway Street station at about 11:30 a.m. The suspect was sitting across from a 20-year-old woman when he exposed himself, police said.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 35-years-old. The suspect is balding, has fair skin and was wearing sunglasses at the time of the incident, police said. The suspect’s photo is in the Gazette online, May 2 issue.
He was wearing a beige blazer, a light-colored button-down shirt, blue jeans, white Nike sneakers and was carrying a backpack at the time of the attack, police said.

Await Cause Of Death
Police at the 114th Precinct are awaiting the results of an autopsy by the city Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death of a 79-year-old Woodside woman.
Police responding to a 911 call by a worried family member found badly bruised Zenaida Gonzalez unconscious at the bottom of a staircase at her home on 55th Street near 31st Avenue on May 4, authorities said.
Gonzalez was declared dead at the scene a short while later, fire officials said.
