Katie Holmes Spotted On Steinway Street
Katie Holmes, actress and the wife of action movie star Tom Cruise, took a little vacation to New York City in celebration of her daughter, Suri’s birthday. The two arrived in New York by helicopter on April 16 and have been exploring the city and many sweet shops, to satisfy Suri’s craving for ice cream and cupcakes. On April 26, Holmes was seen crossing the street at the intersection of Steinway Street and 30th Avenue as she escaped from her Manhattan apartment into Astoria, for a much needed coffee break. Holmes is taking care of Suri all alone, while Cruise stays behind in their California mansion. Running around the city is no easy task. Holmes needed to indulge her caffeine fix just as much as Suri needed to fulfill her sweet tooth.While the Gazette normally stays out of such gossip issues, we felt compelled to use this photo, which was sent to us by Richard Plush of Schatz Paint on Steinway Street.
