Hunt Suspect In Push-In Robbery

Police last week released a sketch of a suspect sought in connection with a November 21 push-in robbery in Woodside.

Cops said the suspect confronted a 37-year-old woman at about 9:40 p.m. on November 21, as she was entering her apartment near 68th Place in Woodside.

The suspect threw the woman to the floor and tried to yank her purse from her shoulder, police said.

When the man was unable to grab the purse he ran from the apartment and fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male with a light complexion, approximately 18- to 25-years-old, 5-feet, 2-inches to 5-feet, 3-inches tall, with black shoulder length hair, police said.
