Marshall Helps Open Dialysis Center

Office of the Queens Borough President
Queens Borough President Helen Marshall assisted Rogosin Institute Board Member Anne Cote Taylor (l. of c.) and Director Dr. Barry Smith (r. of c.), in officially opening the institute’s new dialysis center at 39-20 Utopia Parkway in Auburndale. The facility, which opened on October 12, operates a center in Woodside and is a leader in the treatment of kidney disease. The new center can provide services for more than 200 patients and will be open until 11 p.m. six days a week, excluding Sunday. Standing behind Marshall is Councilmember Dan Halloran. Marshall said that the new center was a welcome development in the wake of the recent closure of Flushing Hospital’s outpatient dialysis center.
