A ribbon-cutting was held last week to celebrate the addition of this new program. Community and church leaders, Board members, parents and local politicians were on hand at the ceremony.

“In a time when so many schools are cutting programs, we know that we are extremely blessed to be in a position to expand ours,” commented Martin Luther Head of School Randal C. Gast. “This is a great leap of faith, but we are confident that, with the personnel we have in place and the dedication and determination of the students and their families, it will be a success.”

“This first month has been a whirlwind experience for me,” commented Middle School Principal Barbara Chin-Sinn. “I am so excited with all we are able to offer to our students, including the blossoming band program, Chess Nuts and more. These students and their families have high expectations for this program, and we are striving to make their experience the best it can be.”
