Whitestone Attempted Rape Suspect Captured

Police arrested Kenneth King, a Bayside resident on Friday, September 30, in connection with an attempted rape that occurred in Whitestone on Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD. Police arrested and charged King, 41, of 210 Street, on one count of attempted rape and one count of attempted sexual abuse. King was wanted for attempted rape in the confines of the 109th Precinct. On September 28 at 9 a.m. the suspect, a white male, 45-50 years old, 5 foot, 11 inches tall with salt and pepper hair, grabbed the victim, a woman, off the sidewalk at 148th Street and the Cross Island Parkway service road, into a secluded wooded area and attempted to sexually assault her.
