Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Celebrates 170th Anniversary

Photos Jason D. Antos On July 16, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Astoria, celebrated its 170th anniversary. Almost 1,000 people representing local religious and civic groups took part in the special mass and festivities that followed.

The event was held during the Feast Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Attending the celebration were the Queens Knights of Columbus and additional parish activity groups.
