This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military honor for valor in combat against an enemy force. In a tribute to the nation’s surviving Medal of Honor recipients, American Airlines flew a group of these veterans from New York to Washington, D.C., where they were recognized during National Medal of Honor Day, March 25.
