One Penny At A Time


On November 19, at Astoria’s P.S. 85, elementary student council members led by their teacher Sonya Roselli, dropped by Councilmember Peter F. Vallone Jr.’s office during their annual Penny Harvest collection. Vallone and his staffers contributed. The Penny Harvest is organized by Common Sense, a not-for-profit group, which specializes in service-learning programs for young people.
