The Ravenswood Lions Club of District 20 K-1 sponsored a trip for a group of children from the Salah M. Hassanein Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens on August 13 to the American Museum of Natural History for an educational visit. The museum’s Mobile Dinosaur Exhibit paid a visit on August 18 to the Variety Boys & Girls Club, 21-12 30th Rd., in Astoria. In preparation for the visit, a lesson on dinosaurs was taught at the club’s facilities where more than 200 children were able to view this exhibit at the Variety Boys & Girls Club.
