The two Jackie Mason showcase performances were filled with brand new material.

Mason, a former rabbi, made fun of President Obama as well as Jews and Puerto Ricans in particular. He was generously apologetic for his remarks explaining that it was all humor and not intended to insult anyone.

One person in attendance, 90 year old Rose Hurwitz of Forest Hills, was brought to the theater by her daughter Dawn Ackerman, granddaughter Miriam Berfas and niece Debbie Hurwitz. Mason posed for birthday photos with the three generations of Hurwitz’ just before he left the stage.
