Liu Gets Big Apple Greeter Awar d
At Big Apple Greeter’s recent 18th anniversary recognition breakfast, city Comptroller John Liu was presented with the organization’s Public Service Award.
“As someone who has served under two mayoral and two gubernatorial administrations, I am proud to be presenting Big Apple Greeter’s Public Service Award to such a distinguished honoree as NYC Comptroller John Liu,” Red Apple Group Director of Government Affairs, Counsel to John Catsimatidis and Big Apple Greeter Board of Directors Member Vince Tabone declared. Liu in turn wowed the Big Apple Greeter crowd with his self-deprecating wit and charm and commitment to the Big Apple Greeter’s mission.

Since its start in 1992, Big Apple Greeter has welcomed more than 88,000 visitors from all 50 states and 124 countries, with visits conducted in 22 languages.
