The Hunt Is On For Dutch Kills Robbery Suspect
Queens detectives last week released a surveillance photo of a man sought in connection with at least three recent robberies in the Dutch Kills neighborhood in Long Island City.
Police said in each incident the suspect confronted a victim and demanded they turn over their property. The suspect grabbed cash and valuables from the victims and fled on foot.
The first incident took place on February 2, inside a residence at 37-35 Crescent St.
The same suspect struck two times on February 12. The first incident occurred in a building at the Queensbridge Houses at 41-13 12th St. and the second inside 24-02 41st Ave.
The suspect is described as a male black, 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet, 2 inches tall. He was wearing a camouflage jacket, white hoodie, black ski hat, blue jeans and dark sneakers when his image was captured by the surveillance camera.
No one was injured in the attacks, police said.
Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call the Crimestoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. The Hotline is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
