Queens Library Foundation Gets $10K Grant
As part of its quarterly giving schedule, BJ's Charitable Foundation donated $10,000 to the Queens Library Foundation. The Queens Library Foundation was selected for its support of the BJ's Charitable Foundation focus on providing basic needs such as food, selfsufficiency, healthcare services and education to children and families residing in the communities BJ's Wholesale Clubs serve.
The Queens Library Foundation received $10,000 out of a total of $723,200 donated to 87 nonprofits throughout the BJ's Charitable Foundation footprint. The donation will be used in support of the Queens Library Foundation's BOOST (Best Out of School Time) after school program, which serves about 2,000 children daily, helping them with homework and providing them with many enrichment activities.
"BJ's Charitable Foundation is dedicated to providing support to local nonprofits that help those in need," BJ's Wholesale Club Community Relations Specialist Joe Trentadue said. "We strive to enhance and enrich important community programs to benefit the children and families where BJ's does business."
BJ's Charitable Foundation was established with the mission of enriching every community BJ's Wholesale Clubs serve.
