Senate Deadlock Cannot Happen Again
      For the first time in a month the senate of the state of New York actually transacted some business last week. With state Senators Pedro Espada and Hiram Monserrate returning to the fold of their Democratic colleagues, the senate is no longer evenly split between two parties. The deadlock is over and business as usual is the order of the day.
