MetroCard Sales For Seniors And Disabled

New York City Transit has advised Community Board 7 that they will have a MetroCard mobile van on the northwest corner of 31st Road and Union Street on Thursday, July 30, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The MetroCard mobile sales staff will be there to assist seniors age 65+ and people with disabilities in obtaining reduced fare MetroCards.

Seniors must bring a Medicare card and valid photo identification such as a driver and/or non-driver I.D. card.

Eligible persons may either obtain a new card or add money to their existing reduced-fare Metrocard.
