Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens is hosting a community art contest and exhibition event. The theme is "Health is…", and to enter you must be in one of the following age groups: one to 13, 14-19, 20-50 and 51+.

Communicate your idea of what good health looks like in a painting, drawing, photo, mixed media, sculpture, collage, etc.

Art contest submissions are due by June 8 by e-mail to art@mountsinai.org, files larger than 1MB will not be accepted.

Non-returnable print submissions can be mailed to: Art Contest c/o Greg Cicchino, Mount Sinai Hospital, Marketing Communications, 25-10 30th Ave., Long Island City, NY 11102.

Include your name, age, address, e-mail, phone number and size of artwork. Do not send transparencies, slides or original artwork.

A grand prize will be awarded for first, second and third place winners in each group plus an honorable mention.

The community art exhibit will be June 22, 3 to 7 p.m. at Mount Sinai Family Health Associates, 31-60 21st St., Astoria. A selection of artwork from the contest will be displayed at Mount Sinai locations and used in a Mount Sinai poster series and advertising campaign.
