114th Civ-Op Removes Graffiti In Astoria

Members of 114th Civ-OP, Inc.'s Graffiti Removal and Maintenance Team removed graffiti from two storefronts on 34th Avenue near 42nd Street in Astoria recently. The sixmember 114th Civ-OP team maintains the cleaned up status of more than 300 different sites within the 114th Precinct area. Funds for the program are provided by Councilmembers Peter Vallone Jr. and Eric Gioia through the New York City Department of Small Business Services and state Senator George Onorato through the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
