114th Precinct Blotter Highlights On Wednesday, April 30, police of the 114th Precinct executed a search warrant at 41-07 12th St. As a result, three Hispanic females 17, 18 and 42 years old and two Hispanic males 16 and 33 years old were charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana after they were found in possession of marijuana and cocaine. The 17-year-old female was also found to be wanted on an active warrant. 114th Precinct Police Precinct Blotter Highlights Sunday, May 4: • A 41-year-old Hispanic male was charged with obstructing governmental administration, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unlicensed operator and DWI after he was observed recklessly operating a vehicle. When he was stopped at 38-66 11th St. he fled the vehicle, which he was found to be driving without the owner's permission. He was also found to be intoxicated and beer was found inside the vehicle. • An 18-year-old white male was observed inside Astoria Park drinking vodka and on further investigation, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of marijuana and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public Saturday, May 3: • A 42-year-old black male was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct after he was observed punching a victim in the face at 32-16 Steinway St. and was found in possession of a razor blade. • A 28-year-old Hispanic male was heard yelling obscenities out of his vehicle and when stopped at 32-16 Steinway St., was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, disorderly conduct and signaling illegally. • A 40-year-old Hispanic female was charged with resisting arrest, trespass and disorderly conduct after she refused to leave 33- 10 Astoria Blvd. on request and started to yell profanities in public. Friday, May 2: • A 17-year-old white female was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny after she was observed stealing merchandise from 33-08 Broadway. A 15- year-old Hispanic female was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after she acted violently while police were arresting the 17-year-old. Thursday, May 1: • A 31-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal trespass after he refused to leave a victim's apartment at 30-87 43rd St. in order to avoid paying cab fare. • A 31-year-old white male was charged with assault at the 114th Police Precinct station house, 34-16 Astoria Blvd., after he threw a plate and struck a victim in the head. • Two white males, each 17 years old, an 18-year-old white male and an 18-year-old white female were charged with criminal possession of marijuana and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public after they were observed drinking alcohol in a vehicle at 36th Street and 30th Avenue and were found in possession of marijuana. One of the 17-year-old males was also found to be wanted on an active warrant. • Two 19-year-old white males were charged with criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana after they were observed in possession of marijuana at 34-09 42nd St. Wednesday, April 30: • A 25-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal trespass after he was found inside 23-11 28th Ave. without permission. Tuesday, April 29: • An 18-year-old white male was charged with assault and harassment after he punched a victim in the side of the face at 44th Street and Newtown Road. • A 28-year-old Hispanic male was charged with possession of a forged instrument after he was observed fighting in public at 31st Street and 28th Avenue and provided false information when he was asked for identification. • Monday, April 28: A 33-year-old Hispanic male was charged with urinating in public after he was observed urinating in a public sidewalk at 32-34 48th St. and on further investigation, was found to be wanted on an active warrant. |
