Major Chrysler Jeep Dodge Wins '07 Pacesetter Award Chrysler recently awarded Major Chrysler Jeep Dodge with the 2007 Chrysler-Jeep Pacesetters Award. The Pacesetter winners are Chrysler-Jeep dealerships who were selected for selling 1,000 units or more during the 2007 calendar year. "I am extremely honored to accept this Pacesetter award from the Chrysler Group on behalf of the entire dealership," Bruce Bendell of Major Chrysler Jeep Dodge said. "This award is a combined effort of the hard work and dedication provided by each employee on a daily basis." This year's award ceremony was held in Naples, Florida from April 20 to 23 and was hosted by Bob Nardelli, Chrysler CEO, Jim Press, president of Chrysler, and Steven Landry, executive vice president North American sales. This year marks the 40th year of the Chrysler-Jeep Pacesetter and Dodge Charger Club awards. Chrysler's eight business centers, located throughout the United States, selected the 200 dealership winners on behalf of the company. Each of the dealers received an all-expense paid trip to Naples and a crystal trophy. In addition, Chrysler congratulated the winning dealers in its internal Dealer News publication.
