114th Precinct Police Nab 8 For Sales To Minors Seven men and one woman, all of Asian descent, were charged with having unlawful dealings with a child after they were observed selling alcoholic beverages to minors under the age of 21 at various establishments in the 114th Police Precinct on Saturday, March 29. The defendants were a 23-year-old male, arrested at 36-01 Ditmars Blvd., a 49-year-old male at 31-21 Ditmars Blvd., a 43-year-old male at 45-20 30th Ave., a 24-yearold male at 40-35 21st St., a 30-year-old male at 24-20 Ditmars Blvd., a 54-year-old male at 25-20 21st St., a 49-year-old male at 18-59 Ditmars Blvd. and a 23-year-old female at 36-13 Ditmars Blvd. Also on March 29, a 22-year-old white male and a 20-year-old white female were charged with operating an unlicensed bottle club, engaging in the prohibited sale of alcohol, operating an unlicensed liquor storage warehouse and criminal nuisance when they were found to be in charge of an establishment at 40-26 28th St. where alcohol was being sold without a New York state liquor license. • A 44-year-old white male was charged with assault and harassment after he slapped a victim and punched the victim in the face at 20-48 26th St. 114th Precinct Blotter Highlights Monday, March 24: • A 36-year-old Hispanic male was charged with menacing and assault after he slapped and kicked a victim and pointed a knife at the victim's face at 23-28 32nd St. • An 18-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon after he slashed a victim in the face at 36-08 33rd St. • A 16-year-old male wanted for punching another individual was charged with assault and harassment at Long Island City H.S., 14-30 Broadway. • A 34-year-old black male was charged with grand larceny and possession of burglar's tools after he was found in possession of a required uniform and was impersonating personnel who were expected to pick up money from 34-01 31st Ave. • A 14-year-old Hispanic female was charged with petit larceny after she went into a victim's bag and removed money without permission at 45- 11 31st Ave. Tuesday, March 25: • A 40-year-old white male was charged with assault after he punched and kicked a victim in the face and head at 25-10 34th Ave. • Two Hispanic females 22 and 25 years old were charged with assault after they were observed in a physical altercation at 38-68 13th St. • A 49-year-old white male was charged with assault after he punched a victim in the face at 34- 07 30th Ave. • At 11th Street and 35th Avenue, a 35-yearold Hispanic female was observed obstructing vehicular traffic in an effort to offer sexual acts for money. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, prostitution and disorderly conduct. Wednesday, March 26: • A 49-year-old white male was charged with assault after he hit a victim in the head with a broom, causing the victim to fall down a flight of stairs at 43-03 Broadway. • A 38-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault after he struck a victim in the back of the head at 28-15 24th Ave. • A 31-year-old black male was charged with assault after he punched a victim in the nose at Astoria Boulevard and 33rd Street. • A 23-year-old black male was charged with robbery and criminal possession of stolen property after he forcibly stole a victim's purse, causing injury to the victim, at 30-35 41st St. • A 27-year-old white male was charged with criminal mischief after he ripped a victim's clothes apart without permission at 28-30 34th St. • A 30-year-old Asian male was charged with petit larceny after he was observed taking money from tables at an establishment at 25-03 Steinway St. without permission. Thursday, March 27: • A 33-year-old white male was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny after he stole two cellphones from a victim at 34th Avenue and 33rd Street. • A 23-year-old white male was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, traffic device violation and making an unsafe lane change after he was observed running a red light and officers initiated a traffic stop at the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and 30th Avenue. Friday, March 28: • A 63-year-old white male was charged with assault after he kicked a victim in the leg and rammed the victim's head into a door at 8-15 27th Ave. • A 15-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault at the 114th Precinct station house, 34- 16 Astoria Blvd., after he sliced a victim's hand with a knife. • A 15-year-old Asian male was charged with petit larceny at the 114th Precinct station house, 34-16 Astoria Blvd., after he stole a victim's PlayStation. • A 36-year-old Asian male was charged with criminal possession of stolen property after he removed a victim's furniture from 26-06 23rd Ave. without permission. Sunday, March 30: • A 30-year-old white male was charged with assault and harassment after he caused damage to a victim's property at 28-23 37th St. and attempted to choke the victim. • A 29-year-old white male was charged with reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after he pushed a victim into a child during a dispute and then proceeded to get a bat and regain access to the victim's apartment at 25-44 23rd St. • A 33-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault after he punched a victim in the mouth and kicked the victim in the stomach at 25-45 9th St. • A 25-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal nuisance and engaging in the sale of alcohol without a license after he was observed selling alcoholic beverages without a New York state liquor license at 37-06 36th St. • A 22-year-old Hispanic male was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after he was seen and heard yelling obscenities in public and refused to leave 36th Avenue and 33rd Street after he was lawfully requested to do so. Monday, March 31: • A 19-year-old Hispanic male was charged with petit larceny and possession of a graffiti instrument after he was seen stealing spray paint from 50-10 Northern Blvd. Tuesday, April 1: • A 28-year-old female was charged with assault after she scratched a victim in the chest and hand at 34-11 36th Ave. • A 13-year-old white female was charged with assault and harassment after she struck a victim in the face at 31st Avenue and 48th Street. • A 21-year-old black male and a 23-year-old Hispanic male were each charged with assault at the 114th Precinct station house, 34-16 Astoria Blvd., after they scratched each other during a dispute. • A 32-year-old white male was charged with criminal mischief and harassment after he struck and broke the rear window of a victim's vehicle at 30-22 51st St. • Two Asian males 26 and 28 years old were each charged with menacing, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment after they struck a victim in the face and body and threatened the victim with a knife at 24-04 23rd St. • A 16-year-old black male was charged with obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct after he blocked vehicular traffic and then locked officers out of a building at 35-40 21st St. in an attempt to prevent another person's arrest. Tuesday, April 2: • A 36-year-old black male was charged with criminal mischief, possession of burglar's tools and petit larceny after he broke the front passenger side window of a victim's vehicle in order to steal property from inside it. • A 51-year-old black male was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal mischief and criminal trespass after he was observed stealing copper wire from 33-20 Northern Blvd. • A 38-year-old Hispanic male was charged with violation of a local law, possession of burglar's tools and criminal possession of stolen property after he was observed riding a bicycle on the sidewalk at Broadway and 32nd Street and was found to be wanted on three active warrants and in possession of stolen property, including a GPS device and cellphone chargers. • Two white males 17 and 38 years old and a 37-year-old Hispanic male were charged with auto stripping, criminal mischief, grand larceny and possession of burglar tools after they were found removing and stealing parts of a victim's vehicle without permission at 34-55 29th St. |
