Opening day 2008 with Councilwoman Melinda Katz, sponsor of the first ever FHYAA Girls Softball Travel Team.

Councilwoman Melinda Katz was on hand to throw out the first pitch for the Forest Hills softball team which bears her name and support - Katz's Komets.

Councilwoman Katz has been a major contributor to the FHYAA and also a moral supporter of the girls division.
