Free Synagogue Of Flushing Presents Tribute Concert

The Free Synagogue of Flushing will present a tribute concert to renowned Russian-born cellist Alexander Kouguell on Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m., at 41-60 Kissena Blvd., between Main Street and Sanford Avenue, Flushing. Admission is free.

The first half of the concert will feature a string quartet of solos, duets and trios by students of Kouguell, a professor emeritus at Queens College. The second part will feature "On Wenlock Edge", a song cycle for tenor, string quartet and piano, featuring Cantor Steven Pearlston. Kouguell will attend the concert.
