The incident took place at 25-95 Steinway St. • A 29-year-old white male was observed at Broadway and 31st Street urinating in public and could not produce valid identification. Upon further investigation, he was found in possession of marijuana. He was charged with urinating in public and unlawful possession of marijuana. Friday, February 8: • A 24-year-old Hispanic male was charged with urinating in public after he was observed urinating in public at Broadway and 41st Street and on further investigation, was found to be wanted on an active warrant. • A 22-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a vehicle after he broke into a victim's vehicle without permission at Vernon Boulevard and 31st Avenue. • A 41-year-old male was charged with menacing, assault and criminal possession of a weapon after he punched a victim and threatened the victim with a knife at 32-39 43rd St. • A 26-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault and harassment after he punched and attempted to choke a victim and threatened her with a knife. The incident took place at 19-32 21st Dr. • An 18-year-old Hispanic male was charged with having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public after he was observed drinking alcohol in public at Ditmars Boulevard and 45th Street and was found to be under the legal age. Also, on further investigation, he was found to be wanted on an active warrant. • A 50-year-old black female was charged with having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public after she was observed drinking alcohol in public at 22-72 31st St. and upon further investigation, was found to be wanted on three active warrants. • Two 15-year-old Hispanic males were charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and possession of a graffiti instrument after they were observed making graffiti on the sidewalk at 36-19 Broadway. • A 35-year-old white male was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was observed smoking marijuana in public at Steinway Street and Ditmars Boulevard. • A 43-year-old white male was observed throwing the contents of a garbage container and the container on the sidewalk at 37th Street and 30th Avenue and was found in possession of marijuana. He was charged with violation of a local law, unlawful possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct. • A 53-year-old Hispanic male was yelling obscenities in public and refused to leave 36-63 34th St. upon a lawful order to do so. He was charged with disorderly conduct. • A 19-year-old black male was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was found in possession of a gravity knife and cocaine at Crescent Street and 35th Avenue. • A 19-year-old white male was charged with criminal mischief and petit larceny after he broke into a victim's bedroom and removed money without permission. The incident took place at 20-45 Shore Blvd. • A 31-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a controlled substance, petit larceny and possession of a hypodermic needle after he was found in possession of a crack pipe and a hypodermic needle at 24th Avenue and 35th Street. • A 29-year-old black male was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny after he was found in possession of a stolen television at 24th Avenue and 35th Street. • A 46-year-old black male was charged with criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property, possession of burglar's tools, petit larceny and resisting arrest after he broke into a victim's vehicle at 30th Avenue and 45th Street and removed property from within. • A 30-year-old Hispanic male was observed entering the New York City subway system at the N and W elevated train station at 30th Avenue between 32nd and 31st Streets without paying the required fare and was charged with theft of service. • An officer from the 114th Precinct attempted to issue a summons for double parking to a 31-year-old Asian male at 23rd Road and 32nd Street. The male fled the scene and caused a hazardous condition by swerving down a street and running a red light. He was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, producing a false insurance card, disorderly conduct, unlicensed operator and traffic device violation. • A 21-year-old white male was stopped at a vehicle checkpoint at Broadway and 31 Street and found to be in possession of marijuana inside the vehicle. He was charged with criminal possession of marijuana. Wednesday, February 6: • A 12-year-old Hispanic female was charged with criminal mischief and making graffiti after she made graffiti on a wall at 45-11 31st Ave. • A 12-year-old Hispanic female was charged with assault and harassment after she punched a victim in the face at 33rd Road and 21st Street. • A 36-year-old black male was charged at the 114th Precinct station house, 34-16 Astoria Blvd., with criminal contempt after he violated a valid order of protection by repeatedly calling and texting a victim. Tuesday, February 5: • A 51-year-old black male was charged with burglary and criminal trespass after he was observed on property at 38-39 12th St. attempting to gain access to the inside of the building. • At 35-44 Steinway St., a 34-year-old Hispanic female slapped a 39-year-old Hispanic female in the face and punched her in the chest. The 39-year-old female punched the 34-year-old in the chest. Both were charged with assault. Monday, February 4: • A 33-year-old white male was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal sale of marijuana after he was found to be in possession of marijuana for purposes of sale at 21-38 31st St. • A 23-year-old black male and a 24- year-old white male were charged with arson and criminal mischief after they set a vehicle on fire at Astoria Boulevard and 22nd Street. • A 25-year-old white male was charged with criminal trespass after he was observed on property at 21-38 31st St. without permission. |
