Free Job Training Programs For Women At QCC On February 21, 11 a.m., Queens College, Flushing, is holding a "Women and Work" open house event in the Music Building, 65-30 Kissena Blvd., and in Manhattan go to 25 W. 43rd St., 10th Floor, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday to Thursday through February. "Women and Work" is a 15-week program, Monday-Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes: computer programs e.g., MS Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook Express, mathematical skills, verbal, reading, and writing skills and job preparation skills such as resume writing, cover letters, and interviewing skills, dressing for success- free business attire will be provided by women and work's "clothing closet" for those in need. To apply you'll need a high school diploma or GED, a working knowledge of English and a legal resident of the United States.
