Job Ops In After School, Summer Programs

The Child Center of NY is looking for college students to work in after school programs throughout Queens neighborhoods.

Positions are currently open at P.S. 56, Richmond Hill; P.S. 188, Hollis Hills/Bayside and P.S. 223, South Jamaica.

Applicant requirements are maturity, dedicated to students, attending college, be interested in education, recreation, dance and leading club activities focused on drama and arts, be able to lead literacy and leadership activities, have experience or a strong desire to work with kindergarten through 5th grade kids, be bilingual, and computer literacy is a plus.

The hours are from 2:45 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday including school holidays and pays $8/$10 an hour.
