Volunteer Parent Wanted For CEC, D30

Community Education Council District 30 is looking to fill a vacancy. Applications must be received on or before Monday, February 25, by 4 p.m.

Eligible candidates will: help parents resolve issues and address concerns; promote the achievement of educational standards; help schools with individual problems as a Liaison or CEC Member; visit Liaison schools and by invitation attend PTA/PA meetings; hold quarterly meetings with PA/PTA executive boards; provide assistance to School Leadership Teams; play a role in evaluating the community superintendent and approve zoning lines submitted by the community superintendent.
