Volunteers Wanted At New York Cares

New York Cares, the city's leading volunteer organization, has hundreds of ways for Queens residents to get involved in their community, and becoming a volunteer is easy.

Simply attend a one-time orientation, and then choose from more than 900 citywide projects. Orientation for new volunteers will be held in Queens at the following locations during January and February:

Feb. 9, Kew Gardens Hills, Library; Feb. 12, Jacob A. Riis Settlement House, A.R.R.O.W. Community Center; Feb. 19, A.R.R.O.W. Community Center; Feb. 21, Queens Office of the Queens Borough President; Feb. 28, Queens College, Queens Office of the Queens Borough President.
