York Cruises To 70-54 Win Over Lehman College

Marcel Esonwune recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and pulling down 12 rebounds, and Aaron Wilson netted a team-high 15 points to lead the York College men's basketball team to a 70-54 win over Lehman College in a City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) match-up on Wednesday night.
York was never really threatened in the game and they never trailed after the first minute of play. The game was still close, 20-16, with 8:12 left in the first half until York went on a 10-0 run that was capped off on a dunk by Esonwune. The Cardinals maintained their 14-point advantage into the locker room, leading 38-24.
The Cardinals maintained their big lead throughout the second half. York took its biggest lead of the game, 49-31, on a three-pointer by Wilson with 14:08 left in the game. Lehman never got within 12 points for the remainder of the game.
Also contributing for York was Michael Salamanca, with
12 points and four assists and Omari Phipps, with 10 points and five rebounds.
Lehman's Jameson Garcia led all scorers with 21 points, while also pulling down
12 rebounds.
