Monserrate Should Quit
      To The Editor: I found it rather disturbing that another politician is in trouble with the law. Councilman/ [state] Senator-elect Hiram Monserrate was arrested for allegedly assaulting and cutting his girlfriend, Karla Giraldo. She was assaulted with a broken glass and suffered a wound over her left eye and needed 20 stitches.
