Vallone Makes Plea To Restore Vallone Scholarship Fund
      The Vallone Scholarships, created by then City Council Speaker Peter Vallone Sr., awarded to anyone who graduates from a New York City high school with a B average or better and attends a CUNY college, have been greatly reduced in this year's budget. Vallone Secures HPD Grant Funding For CALDC
      City Councilmember Peter F. Vallone Jr. has secured a $39,715 grant from the City Council for the Central Astoria Local Development Coalition (CALDC), a local group that provides services for landlords and tenants in the community. The grant, the HPD Community Consultant Contract, had been awarded to the group for the past ten years.
