Paul Vallone Is Astoria/LIC Kiwanis President

Paul Vallone was installed as president of the Astoria/Long Island City Kiwanis by Wayne Sharif, Kiwanis lieutenant governor, in a ceremony at Ponticello Restaurant, Astoria, on October 22. Vallone succeeds Outgoing President Tony Siano. Before his election he, with Eric Pasinkoff, was legal counsel to the Astoria/LIC Kiwanis; on his election he relinquished the position of legal counsel to Astoria/LIC Kiwanis Member Donna Furey
During the installation festivities, it was noted that during the past year, the Astoria/LIC Kiwanis has welcomed many new members, among them Democratic State Committeewoman of the 36th Assembly District Laura Jean Hawkins and Julian Wager, Gazette advertising director.
