Start Your Day With Starbucks

With some days starting at 4 a.m. and others lasting until midnight, no one can be faulted for not eating a healthy breakfast— or not eating breakfast at all. Nor are those who skip breakfast alone. According to Parade Magazine's 2005 "What America Eats" survey, 70 percent of Americans report skipping breakfast, despite the U.S. Department of Agriculture's declaration that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Starbucks recently conducted a survey and found that nearly half of the people asked would give up an extra half hour of sleep in the morning if it meant they could get a delicious and healthy breakfast. Thirty percent of respondents said they didn't eat breakfast because they simply don't have enough time in the mornings.

To prevent mid-morning hunger and just in time for Better Breakfast Month in September, Starbucks is introducing a new line of nutritious and quick food options for the most important meal of the day— breakfast.

Starbucks has begun offering six new delicious and satiating breakfast items that will go great with Starbucks' Pike Place Roast Coffee, a Vanilla Latte + Protein or any favorite Starbucks beverage.

Have a better breakfast that's quick and easy with:

Perfect Oatmeal—100 percent whole-grain goodness finished

with your choice of dried fruit, nut medley or brown sugar. • Fruit Stella bursting with 100 percent whole grains plus juicy baked berries and omega-3s.

Chewy Fruit & Nut Bar—Real fruit, oats, nuts and clover honey.

Multigrain Roll made with seven hearty grains and seeds and the sweet taste of honey. Comes with choice of almond butter or fruit preserves.
