Lightning Storm Shortens Jets Practice

      The Jets held a formal practice August 2 at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium, named for the former president of Hofstra University, before a few hundred Jets fans in preparation of their first pre-season game on Thursday, August 7 in Cleveland. Security guards led fans from the stands with minutes to play in the first half after lightning lit up the sky.
