York Women Win CUNYAC Track & Field Championship
      For the second consecutive season, the York College women's outdoor track and field team captured the City University of New York Athletic Conference championship. However, the Cardinals will share the title with the ladies from Lehman College who finished in a tie after an intense day of competition on Sunday, May 11.

Memorial Race Set
      The second Michael Elferis Memorial Run, named after a New York City firefighter who died on Sept. 11, 2001, in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks at the age of 27, is set for Saturday June 7 in College Point. The 5K race, conducted by the College Point Road Runners, will start at 10 a.m.
