Commerce Bank Builds New Flushing Branch

Construction continues at the site of Commerce Bank's newest retail location in the new Queens Crossing building at Main Street and 39th Avenue in Flushing.

Scheduled to open later this month, with a celebration to follow in February, the new branch will provide local customers with seven-day banking, free products and services and an unparalleled level of service and convenience.

Commerce models itself after the nation's leading retailers, and is committed to providing customers with a memorable experience at every point of contact. Visitors to the Flushing location will be greeted at the door by a welcoming employee and will find a mural of a local scene adorning one wall, signs in Chinese, Korean, and English, a multilingual staff and a customer-focused experience. The branch will feature 4,900 safe-deposit boxes. Commerce Bank also stresses the vital importance of having a local staff and local bankers making local banking decisions.

Commerce Bank originated the concept of seven-day branch banking. For the convenience of its customers, the branch will be open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
