NHS Recognizes Dutch Kills Student

In November Jessica Fasano was inducted into the St. John's Preparatory School chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) to the delight of her friends and family.

The NHS is one of the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school students and honors those students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Currently a senior at St. John's Prep, Fasano is a member of the swim team, serves on the student council, a member of the jazz rock band and spends time tutoring her peers. She is a Dutch Kills community activist spending time cleaning up Dutch Kills Park, painting school fences or handing out water at the NYC Marathon.

Fasano's plans for the future- Penn State majoring in communications.
