Hunt Knife-Wielding Thugs

Queens detectives are searching for three thugs who stabbed a Ridgewood man on November 23.

Cops said the victim was walking with a friend near Grove Street and Seneca Avenue at about 12:50 a.m. when the three suspects approached.

One of the suspects pulled a knife and stabbed the victim, police said. The three then fled in an unknown direction.

The friend called 911 and the victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he remains in stable condition.

Police sources said investigators are still trying to determine what led to the stabbing.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call the Crimestoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.

Fast-Food Shove

An off-duty Manhattan cop found himself on the other side of the law recently when he was arrested for shoving a female customer in a Flushing McDonald's Restaurant, police said.

Cops said Chun Yun, 36, allegedly pushed the 29-year-old woman after a dispute inside the restaurant on Farrington Street.

Police said the woman was not badly injured in the incident. Detectives are still trying to determine what led to the argument.

Chun, who works out of the 19th Precinct in Manhattan, was arrested and charged with assault and harassment.

Police officials said Chun was suspended from his duties following his arrest.

Tot Plunges To His Death

A two-year-old Rego Park boy fell six stories to his death on November 20 after crawling out a window onto a fire escape while his mother was in the shower, police said.

Neighbors shrieked when Ezquel Conterras- wearing only a diaper- landed on the sidewalk outside his family's apartment on Saunders Street at about 8 a.m.

Police said there was a child safety guard on one of the apartment windows but not on the window leading to the fire escape.

Neighbors who refused to give their names said this was not the first time the child was spotted climbing out of the window that lacked the guard.

The baby was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he was declared dead at about 8:45 a.m., police said.

No charges have been filed in the incident.

Knife-Wielding 'Madman' Busted

Cops recently arrested a 47-year-old man after he went on a wild rampage at a Jackson Heights intersection, muttering to himself and waving a knife at police.

Cops said Joseph Giarizo pointed the knife at passersby at 74th Street and 37th Road, menacing people at the bustling intersection.

When cops approached Giarizo, he pointed the knife at them and spat in their direction, police sources said. The cops cuffed Giarizo following a brief struggle.

Giarizo was charged with menacing, resisting arrest and weapons possession.
