Chris Hwang Is Commerce Bank Commercial Loan VP

Chris Hwang, Commerce Bank vice president and team leader, commercial lending.
Commerce Bank (NYSE: CBH), "America's Most Convenient Bank", recently named Chris Hwang vice president and team leader, commercial lending. In his new role, Hwang will develop customized lending solutions for the Asian market throughout New York City.

Hwang joins Commerce with more than 18 years of banking experience, most recently as senior vice president/director, small business lending for Flushing Savings Bank. He is a member of the board of trustees for Flushing Hospital & Medical Center, the board of directors for Queens Theatre in the Park, the board of governors for Unisphere, Inc./Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, the board of directors for the Korean Youth Foundation and the board of directors for the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater New York. He resides in Dix Hills.

Commerce plans to open another convenient location in the heart of an Asian community at 39th and Main Streets in Flushing by the end of the year. Commerce also has locations in other Asian areas including Elmhurst, in Chinatown at Canal and Bowery Streets, Auburndale, Bayside and Corona. Commerce currently has 15 locations throughout Queens.
