3 Honored At Taminent 76th Annual Dinner-Dance

At the Taminent Democratic Club dinner dance November 3 were (l. to r.): state Senator and Taminent Men's Regular Democratic Club Executive Leader George Onorato (at microphone), Democratic District Leader Gloria Eloise, District Attorney Richard Brown (standing), Assemblymember Michael Gianaris, Antonio Meloni of the New York Anti-Crime Agency and 2007 Taminent "Guest of Honor" award recipient, Angie Markham, executive director of the Federation of Italian American Organizations of Queens and 2007 Taminent "Guest of Honor" award recipient, Alyce M. Costello, Taminent Women's president, and Ed Babor, Taminent Men's president.

The Taminent Regular Democratic Club, one of the oldest Democratic clubs in Queens, held its 76th annual dinner-dance on Saturday night November 3 at Riccardo's by the Bridge, Astoria. Angie Markham, executive director of the Federation of Italian American Organizations of Queens, Antonio Meloni, head of the New York Anti-Crime Agency, and Nick Tenaglia, a supervisor in the city Department of Environmental Protection and Taminent Regular Democratic Club sergeant-at-arms, received "Guest of Honor" awards. The club also helped state Senator George Onorato celebrate his birthday.
