Bohemian Hall's first series of Beer Tasting Dinners on Monday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. is off to a great Bstart. The $25 cost of the dinner includes a three-course meal and a beer with each course. Each week, different beers are paired with a traditional dinner, usually Czech cuisine.

Beermeisters speak about characteristics, beer making methods and regions in the Czech Republic where the beers are made, hops are grown or the area's history in relation to beer. One can never be too sure where the conversation is going, but an interesting evening to be shared with others is on tap.

On Family Fun Disco Dinner Sundays families can come together to eat a great dinner such as roast chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes, and then join in a Cha-Cha Slide. These events appeal to all ages and everyone gets a chance to dance. Family Fun Disco Dinner Sundays start at 4 p.m.; the last dance is at 8 p.m. At the low price of $6 for kids and $15 for adults. Family Fun Disco Dinner Sundays are a great way to spend quality time together.

Besides the Sunday and Monday evening dinners, Bohemian Hall also hosts local cover bands as well as family events such as magic shows and a Czech fairy tale puppet show and live entertainment Thursdays, with no cover and no minimum.

Comedyland at Bohemian Hall starts at 8 p.m. on December 5 and continues every subsequent Wednesday except for December 26 and January 2. A new- free- weekly standup comedy show hosted by Stacia Jensen and Colin Dempsey, Comedyland features some of the best comics in New York. Some of the comics are famous, and if they aren't, they should be. Due to content and language this series is appropriate for adults only.
