Kaner Foundation Gives $25K Grant To QSAC

Paul Halvatsis, QSAC vice president (l.) and QSAC Executive Director Gary Maffei hold the $25,000 check presented to the autism service agency by the Walter Kaner Children's Foundation.
QSAC (Quality Services for the Autistic Community) has received a $25,000 grant from the Walter Kaner Children's Foundation. The grant will help fund a new adult day program for people with autism.

Gary Maffei, QSAC executive director, stated, "We are, indeed, thankful to have friends like the people at the Walter Kaner Foundation. This is not the first time they have showed their generosity to people with autism. We are proud to have their support."

QSAC is an award-winning, non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to persons with autism throughout New York City and Long Island. QSAC was established in 1978 by a group of Queens parents concerned about the lack of services available for their loved ones with autism. For more information about QSAC, visit www.qsac.com.
