Astoria/LIC K of C Names Serao Man of the Year
Michael Serao, Commerce Bank operations manager and since 2006 a director of the Astoria Civic Association, was recently presented the 2007 Man of the Year Service Award by the Astoria/Long Island City Knights of Columbus. Serao hosts Astoria Civic Association directors' meetings at Commerce Bank. "Michael has been a role model in our community," former City Council Speaker Peter Vallone Sr., also an ACA member, commented.
