Hellenic Societies Plan Greek Fire Relief Campaign

The Board of Directors of the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York held an open meeting of the presidents and representatives of Greek American organizations and members and non-members of the Federation of Hellenic Societies at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 13 at the Stathakion Center, 22-51 29th St., Astoria, for the creation of committees, bank account reports and the best coordinated efforts for support of compatriots in Greece, which has been ravaged by fires during the month of August.

As a first move, the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York, a not-for-profit organization, has opened the following accounts:
