Variety Boys & Girls Club To Hold 4th Golf Outing

The Salah M. Hassanein Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens will hold its fourth annual Tee Off for Kids Golf Outing on Wednesday, September 26 at the Pelham Bay Golf Course in The Bronx. The event begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. After the golf round, a barbecue dinner, raffle and awards for the top team, longest drive and golfer whose shot landed closest to the pin will follow. Children enrolled in the Club's Drama department will perform. Opportunities for sponsorship at many levels are available, including individual, family or company.

The Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens Inc. promotes the social, educational, health, leadership, and character development of boys and girls during critical periods of their growth through its after school and weekend programs and activities. Recently, four children enrolled in the Club's golf program participated in a tournament sponsored by the Police Athletic League.
