CEC Vacancies In Dist. 26

There are several vacancies on the District 26 Community District Education Council.

Applications for all interested parents with children attending District 26 schools can be obtained from the Parent Coordinator at the school your child attends or it can be hand delivered to M.S. 74, 61-15 Oceania St., Room 128, Bayside, NY11364

Community Education Council Members will:

•Promote the achievement of educational standards.

•Hold quarterly meetings with PA/PTA officers.

•Provide assistance to School Leadership Teams.

•Play a role in evaluating the Community Superintendent.

•Approve zoning lines submitted by the Community Superintendent.
