Correction

In the Gazette of August 8, the article, "Queens Pedestrian Bridges Rated Poor and Fair" by Liz Goff, misidentified Willow Lake Bridge in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The bridge does not cross over the Van Wyck Expressway, but rather the lake. The bridge, although rated in poor condition, had burned and is currently closed to the public. Last year, the Parks Department built a temporary wooden bridge; a permanent bridge will be rebuilt next year at the cost of $1.1 million.
